Thanksgiving Day Football: Week 12 - Thoughts, Picks, and Other Stuff

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!  I definitely hope that everyone enjoys their holiday feast; I know I will!  Of course the best part about the holiday is spending time with family.  I really do cherish the opportunity to get with all of my relatives and catch up.  I'm sure many of you feel the same way.


But without a doubt, the Thanksgiving Day holiday just wouldn't be the same without the ballgames!  So without further ado, let's pick 'em!











Last week: 3-1 (Skins broke my heart!)
Against the Spread: 3-0-1 (Baltimore pushed)

For the Season:
Straight Up: 14-8
Against the Spread: 8-11-2

(-6) Green Bay Packers (10-0) vs. Detroit Lions (7-3)

I expect this to be a damn good game, but I like Green Bay to prevail.  Detroit looks like they've turned into a legitimate team, but they just don't have enough a beat the Pack.  The Champs are on a roll, and they remember their defeat in Motown last year.  Green Bay covers the spread.

Miami Dolphins (3-7) vs. (-7) Dallas Cowboys (6-4)

The cowboys were lucky they didn't lose last week.  No such luck this time around.  Miami's hot and will shock the world today.  Happy Holidays everyone -- Miami Wins!!!

BONUS TIME: 

I like the Baltimore Ravens to beat the San Francisco 49ers in the nightcap.  The Westside Harbaugh's luck runs out tonght.  Book it.  Enjoy the feast and I'll see ya on football friday.
